Dalilah Schmid is an agricultural advisor and connector of the different disciplines of experts at SynBorneo. She brings her passion for sustainable farming practices and her extensive knowledge of agricultural ecosystems to the team.
Growing up in Switzerland, Dalilah spent and still spends every free minute in nature and on farms, developing a deep love for agriculture and an insatiable curiosity for plant life. Her early fascination with  the production of food in Switzerland fueled her desire to enhance the resilience of agroecosystems. This passion led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science at ETH Zurich, where she is now continuing her studies with a master's degree in the same field. 
In 2016, a trip to Borneo ignited Dalilah's interest in the region's agricultural and natural landscapes. She fell in love with the rich biodiversity and vibrant culture, deepening her commitment to sustainable agricultural practices. Dalilah's expertise lies in combining her practical experience with her science-based education.
Dalilah is known for her innovative approach to farming, constantly experimenting with plants and exploring new methods to enhance crop resilience. Her passion for rare plants and variety conservation has made her a key player in preserving Switzerland's agricultural heritage. She believes in the power of action and the endless possibilities that the world of agriculture offers.
